Rights of Women
Islam has given so many rights to women, yet the West has
a misconception that women have no rights.
Islam had given women the rights to inherit.
Their honour and chastity are to be respected under all circumstances.
Women are respected in Islam, so much in fact that paradise lies
at the feet of a woman.
In the old testament story about the creation of the world, Eve is
blamed for tempting Adam. In the Quran it is not Eve but the devil
who tempts both Adam and Eve.
Marriage & Divorce
Islam gives both man and woman full right to divorce
Nevertheless this is discouraged and is allowed as a last resort
because marriage is a scared and important bond of relationship
between a man and woman.
